MATCH REPORT - SELKENT LEAGUE (Autumn): JR Spartans v Titan Tigers Black - 7th Oct 12 (Home)
Our fourth game home to Titan Tigers Black has proved to be our best to date, with us having a full squad for the first time this season.
We started the morning by taking some team photos and singing happy birthday to Taran.
Due to a clash of kit colours the team had to wear yellow bibs for the match.
The game started really well with a very early goal with our first attack from our striker Callum. We continued to build on the early goal with strong performances by Lovell, Jack and Taran in the midfield. However Titan Tigers started to put the pressure on Shemar and Finlay at the back and they were rewarded with an equaliser. The boys raised their game again and showed great character by battling hard in all positions which resulted in another two goals coming from Callum before half time. Giving Callum and the team's first hat trick of he season.

The second half began with a change to the team with Ugo, Kaci and William entering into the game and Finlay, Callum and Lovell making way for them.
Our opponents started strong and had several chances which George made some great saves from. However towards the middle of the second half Titan Tigers scored which boosted their team. This goal spured them on and with approx 10 minutes left they equalised for the second time.
As a direct result of this the manager looked to put Callum and Lovell back on to see if we could put pressure back on the Titan Tigers goal that we had experienced in the first half. The move worked and with Finlay also re entering the game, Callum scored his fourth goal of the game several minutes before the final whistle. What a great result even the the Titan Tigers manager said what a great game it was.

Manager comment: A fantastic performance by everyone today. Every boy played a part in todays victory. Lets hope we can keep up this type of performance and gain another win next week.
